I'm not sure if it is a good dilemma or a bad one. Here is my over sized bin of reds. And the top view.
I was only able to find 3 more reds that were darker and looked good with the rest.
BUT, what fun I had looking through the reds. I came home tired from working all day at the store and this immediately energized me. Try to tell me having a stash is not a good thing!
Red is my absolute FAVORITE color!I'm planning to re-orgainize my fabrics this week-end while the hubby is away...I'm excited just thinking about pouring through them......ahhhhh. It's better than a good hot cup of coffee...and that's pretty good!!! LOL
What a great collection of reds, Wanda! Red is a neutral, don't you know... at least in my planet. It goes with everything! Do I sense a Christmas set of blocks with your previously cut green strips? Vicky F
What fun to play in the reds...batiks at that! The color way looks good to me.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Playing with a bin of fabric is like a kid playing with a bin of toys. Fun!
ReplyDeleteLucky you! I love reds. It's always so rich and invigorating. It gives energy and stimulates the appetite
ReplyDeleteThe reds that you do have are gorgeous. I am sure that you will have no problem finding more should you need them.
ReplyDeleteThat's not a dilemma, that's a bonanza!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun....fondling fabric is always a bonus. I think they look nice fanned out on a coffee table for decoration too!
ReplyDeleteNot many quilters would argue that a stash is not a good thing! The reds are delicious.

ReplyDeleteI can relate, my last blog post was about red fabric...it has sent me into rehab!
ReplyDeleteYep....my stash is the best therapy I have come across....as well as the MOST exspensive!!
ReplyDeleteBut they're all beautifully folded and stacked - not like my jumble sale of scraps!
ReplyDeleteMy red collection looks so similar to yours. Vrry few lights and for me even less mediums.
ReplyDeleteI do have more deep darks though.
YOUR STASH is unbelievable ! But I know how many years you have been collecting it too.
ReplyDeleteAnd the thing is your collection seems to be timeless where most of us tend to buy what's 'in' at the time.
