Finishing the blocks

Now that I have given the first class of the Disappearing 9 Patch I can finish all of the blocks for my class sample. I had sewn 16 of them together to advertise the class so now I can finish the other 16 blocks and get the whole top sewn together.I went to computer club last night. It was a program in a box. The company sent 3 of their products for door prizes and a DVD presentation about them. I wasn't one of the lucky winners.

  1. Hmmm... a program in a box. That sounds really interesting. By the way, we got snow yesterday. I took some pics and will be posting them soon. I am not ready for snow.

  2. I have those marvelous floral strips from your stash ... I've planned and unplanned several quilts for them, but am now seriously thinking I would enjoy the simplicity of ninepatch construction and love the scrappiness of the disappearing element (possibly incorporating one of my "solids" for the center square) ... I'm sure you've shared this in earlier posts, but how large are your squares?

  3. 32 blocks, how many per row and how many rows will you do, 5 blocks x 6 blocks with 2 leftovers?

Inquiring minds would like to know!

  4. Another wonderful quilt in the making. I really like this design and thank you for personally responding to my question on why it is called the DISAPPEARING 9 Patch. The fabrics you select always are the best.

re:computer club... So sorry you did not get a door prize. Will the members share their prizes later on with the rest of you?
