Decisions, decisions......

OK here are 2 more....................
When so many responses were number one in the last post, I remembered this one with wildflowers with red/pink/rust in with the green.
Border choice 5
Border choice 6 (Rebel wanted to see more pink!)
Added at 3:30 p.m. I still haven't decided which one to use so I am going to sew on something else today. I can still work on this one on Monday which is borders day on my daily list. Keep voting!

  1. Number 1 or number 5 are my favorites.

  2. I still like number 1 from the last post the best.

  3. I'm still partial to #1. You could still use the froggy fabric for the back though.

  4. WOW the pink really makes rosebud 'pop'. I now vote for #6.

p.s. This is fun... do you have the border sewn on already ?

  5. I'm voting for the pink one, too #6 - it erally makes those greens in the body stick out - and I'm partial to green ;)

  6. Even with six choices...number 1 looks best to me

  7. #1 or #5, but I think I prefer #5.

  8. Number one is still my choice. second perhaps 6.... certainly a wow factor!

  9. OK, not to be difficult, but what about a narrow strip of the hot pink (LC suggested a thing strip) and then a wider border of #1. #5 seems to have too much rust in it.

  10. I second Teresa since that was going to be my suggestion - thin slice of the hot pink for the WOW factor and #1. I also like the green frog for the back.

  11. Can I vote for no border? The choices actually all work pretty well, but I'm not sure they add to the design overall. The more medium tones, like #3 and #5 detract the least, thus accentuating the design most. But #6 would pop. Are you considering maybe a double border with pink and a green?

  12. WEll I seem to be in the minority but I like the pop from the pink (#6) the best. It just seems to give it more sparkle. Cannot wait to hear what you decide. Hope you are having a nice weekend.

  13. I vote for a thin pink border and then a wider pink and green mottled #1 or #5 option. That was fun to think about!

  14. I vote for border #1 and I love your blog, reading it every day for nearly 5 months now.
I have been quilting since 1974, not quite as long as you.

  15. I like the green in this post.

  16. I vote for 1, 6 or 3 - I like all three of those, but if I had to choose, I'd go for 1.

  17. Funny - I don't like the pink at all. I thought it was overwhelming. Guess that's why taste is personal. I like number 5 best, with number 1 a close second.

  18. My vote is #1 with a thin border strip of the hot pink to make it all pop! I thought of this the second I saw that pink... And use the frogs in the backing!

  19. #1 or #5 but use #6 for binding.

  20. I hate to be difficult, but what about just a plain black border? And...if you wanted to get fancy, a tiny band of white or pink before you add the black border.

  21. #1, Pink and Green mottled.

  22. I like the #1 the best too, I think because it brings out the greeens and also has the pinks. #6 is too much pink for me, this quilt already is pretty pink!

  23. Number 1. I came in late but I would have picked the first anyway. Love the quilt!

  24. I might be the only person who likes #2 best -- I think it makes the darker parts of the quilt pop" a bit more than the others....

  25. I can't decide. I think a combination would do the trick. Maybe a narrow green inner border, then the pink as an outer border. If I had to pick just one, I'd go with the pink in this post...just because I like the fabric better,

  26. I vote for #1 and #6. A thin #6 and and finish with #1. Thank you for allowing us to be a part.

  28. How about a very narrow border of the pink (¼") followed by a wider one of the frog fabric from the other post?
