One more finish

I finished the binding on the flannel quilt. I did it by machine so it went a lot faster. This is the fabric that is on the back.
Here is a close up of the woven plaid flannels and Moda brushed fabrics.
I made a few more blocks for this new quilt but I haven't cut any new centers yet. I have repeated some here already because I'm working out of a little stack of leftovers.
Today I will cut the 22 Kaffe fabrics that have never been cut into as well as going back into the other pile for more centers.

Your blocks are growing into a show piece, from your little stack of leftovers.

But the blocks -- oh, my gosh, they are fantastic. I just sat here and stared at them for a minute, absolutely enthralled! Can't wait to see more!!!

  6. Wanda, you're just a quilting fool lately, and I love it! I'm truly getting many ideas on what to do with my scraps. I checked out a bunch of books on scrap quilts form my guild, and so many of them require more of any one fabric than I have. I truly need something for SCRAPS.

Half square triangles - light and dark - might be just the thing! Now if I could only lay them out as beautifully as you do...

  8. Beautiful quilts. The Kaffe blocks are really working out well. I like those bright colors. I would not have thought that the business of the fabrics would go together as well as they have.

  10. Loving that Kaffe Fassett quilt. Those fabrics are so yummy. They're on my list of things to buy. Yup, I keep a list of fabric that I want to buy. I may have to change it from a list to a notebook!

  11. I'm loving all your color combos - especially Mr. Kaffe's and the quilt in the top right corner of your blog and the one below those Laurel curtains (which are also tres cool) and on and on and on. Your color sense is inspirational!
