It's an interesting pattern, on point the stars look more square, but in straight rows the diagonal lines stand out. I think I like them on point better. The play between the colors is awesome.
I love this on point!! I too wondered how you would treat the setting triangles. What a wonderful colorwash treatment for thangles! Can I see it in person sometime?
No comparison, I like the on point layout far better than the horizontal/vertical rows.
ReplyDeleteoooh, I like "On Pointe" very much! And the color arrangement in the picture, also!
ReplyDeleteI love it as is ! I for one would not even consider turning them. It is like looking at cut gems, with light catching every brilliant facet.

ReplyDeleteI like the on point way better too.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, this is wonderful now, nice before but now wonderful. What are you planning for the triangles?

ReplyDeleteSarah,
ReplyDeleteWhat days do you work?
Definitely on point. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteDitto! On point for me!
ReplyDeleteI really lijke the on point. Either way will work but the one point just puts it over the top.
ReplyDeleteI vote "on point". It makes the blocks more interesting.
ReplyDeleteOn point, on point! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI also say on point...there's more movement somehow. They're so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at how turning blocks on point can completely change the whole effect of the quilt. Wow! for horizontal and Double Wow! for on point.
ReplyDeleteLove it on point! The colors are luminous!
ReplyDeleteThe blocks looked 'Wow!' before, but on point they look 'WOW!!' Go with the on point.
ReplyDeleteLove the on-point. (What would you use for setting triangles?)
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna say on point. Can't tell you why, except like lynda said a few comments up, there's a little more pop for some reason.
