Sorting through the pieces

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. It was like opening the mailbox and finding a pile of cards.

I sorted through some piles and found this group of colorwash pieces waiting to be quilted. They are all small and if I got busy, not one of them would take over 2 or 3 hours to finish. I guess I need to start a "to do" list and stick to it. The little piece on the right in the bottom row has squares that finish at 1".

You certainly are an expert at colorwash. I really like the B&W fabric on the lower left one.

A belated Happy Birthday to you. I had no idea of your age, but I thought you were in your 40s, because of your energy and exhuberance!

Love the 14 year old photo - I think at 14, I was still trying to go shirtless, like my brothers, who always had such interesting things to do. Can you imagine that today? the parents would be arrested! LOL

Oh yes, I highly recommend making quilting "to do" lists. I LOVE making quilting "to do" lists.

Sticking to a list, eh, that's optional.

Nice, classic watercolors. Watercolor miniatures, almost, if I've got the scale right. Definitely worth finishing!

Those are lovely examples of colourwash.
I am not religious in any sense, but I am so drawn to the 'cross'!

Wanda - how large is the small one in the lower right corner? If it is 9" x 12" or less, it would make an AWESOME Priority Quilt for AAQI. Exquisite colors!
