Quilts with Kaffe Fassett fabric 2017 partial - 2020

Using up all of my strippy type Kaffe collective scraps in blocks of 2 sizes.

Pure Kaffe - only Kaffe Fassett fabrics in this colorwash.

Kaffe Fassett collective fabrics in this quilt of 4" x 8" rectangles in a vertical position. Ends of uneven rows filled in with 4" squares.

Child size quilt made with 1" finished strips of Kaffe fabrics.

Pure Kaffe colorwash - just Kaffe (not collective).  2019

Kaffe collective fabrics with a constant light fabric of white with black print (not Kaffe).

X and + pattern

Kaffe meets Plaid...

Kaffe Fassett fabrics paired with lots of plaids and stripes collected over the years. There are lots of out of print Kaffes in this one.

This one is for me--my very own Kaffe Fassett Trip Around the World quilt.

I used Brandon Mably's Onion Rings as a constant center strip with all of my 2" Kaffe strips that were cut many years ago.  It is a Basket Weave layout.

Rectangles and Daisies.  I made a bunch of simple pieced  blocks to use up an abundance of strips and then paired them with 3 leftover blocks from a few years ago.

It took 11 years to get this one completed--mostly because of indecision at several parts.  It is a charm quilt - every piece is a different Kaffe Fassett fabric starting with #01.

  1. I love Your works & designs I aspire to make on of Your older works but not sure of the cuts of the fabrics 4 this quilt. Posted in 1/14/15 in Cleaning Up 🤔 It was the 2nd quilt highlighted with 3 strips of a certain width & 2with a smaller width accent strip/slice.
I also saw it in a 8/5/18 article maybe Pinterest.
Any chance of getting more info on this pattern.
    Thanks Phyllis

  2. Hello... I travel a lot and found your blogs, and everything scrappy/Kaffe !! when in the US. I LOVE Exuberant Color!! At that time, I thought I saw a X and + tutorial but I can't find it today...

I made a Kaffe Plus quilt top recently. I usually make two quilt tops: (the front and then use front scraps and unique design for back) I thought I would use a portion of the X and + idea for the back.

Could you share a link to the tutorial or directions for the X and +. Thank you so much.. Barbara
