Working on two..............

Yesterday afternoon I sewed one more Fractured block, bottom right.  When I get all 20 blocks sewn, maybe the ones with the darker backgrounds will end up on the edges of the layout.

Then I cleaned off my cabinet so I could sew the binding on the Kaffe Zipper quilt.

I started sewing on the binding in the late afternoon and then decided to go to the grocery store before it got dark.  I got home in time to pick some more tomatoes.

I finished the binding at 10 p.m.  You can see I went with the wild fabric for the binding and it looks good with both sides of the quilt.  I'll try to get it photographed today.

We are enjoying nice weather right now, temperatures in the 70s and high 40s or low 50s most nights.  It looks like the hurricane rain that comes north might clip us but most of the rain will be east of us.

The Fractured blocks are looking great! I like the different colored backgrounds. That wild binding is perfect for that quilt. That's great you got it finished. There is a 100% chance of rain here Sunday so I guess we will be seeing the remnants of the hurricane here! Right now there is rain in the forecast for Monday thru Friday next week. I guess I need to squeeze in lawn mowing tonight and Saturday and not just sew all weekend.

I really like the backgrounds you are using for your Fractured quilt blocks, Wanda:))) Lovely groupings...
57 here and sunny--supposed to get to the 70's (???) --maybe I think. Good day for Riverside walking ...hugs, Julierose

We'll get hurricane wind/rain tomorrow (Sat.) with it tapering away on Sunday. GREAT binding choice!

Love all the color in the fracture quilt. Love that backing. And love the wild binding. I am going to try using that idea.

That comment is from me….when I use my iPad, it automatically comments as me so I forget on my phone I have to change it. I have tried to troubleshoot that on my phone to no avail 😖

Hugs!
