Yesterday morning I got letters ready to mail and made a shopping list. I did the grocery shopping and the fun part, putting it all away. Then I went out and cut down a few peonies. I'm doing a few a day and hope to get them all done this week while the weather is nice.
Last night I sewed some of the 8" pinwheels to go with the 4" ones. The row of triangles across the top is the rest of the 4" and the variety isn't very interesting. I'll cut some more fun Marcia Derse fabrics and make new pairs. I thought I would get around to cutting the 3" ones but it was a busy day.

You did have a busy day! This is going to be fun one to watch come together with the colorful MD fabrics. No binding decisions yet?
I always off people for the opportunity to come home with me to put the groceries away. LOL!! I have to haul the cold stuff in immediately, but I will get the rest a couple bags at a time. I have to go from the attached garage down five steps to the lower level, thru the utility room, sewing studio and foyer up the steps, and thru the living room to get to the kitchen. I know - that crazy! When I have a lot of can goods or heavy stuff, I will just set them at the bottom of the stairs then take one with me when I go upstairs for something. Between your shopping, cutting down peonies, and making more pinwheel blocks you were busy!
U certainly get your cardio in!! Curious ... Have u ever considered delivery? Might be money well spent in the long run.
This is going to be such a happy quilt with the two sizes of pinwheels. Have fun and don't let the tasks keep you away from HST fun!

I like the 2 sizes idea - I did that once and really liked how it turned out.
