The separate column on the left is all of the new squares cut yesterday. I think I need to cut the 2 light background squares down to 6.5" and then the flower will be more prominent. Also the red flower with the purple background might need to be cut down. I'll keep cutting......
I brought my Peony bouquet inside yesterday morning. I will put it in my bathroom now where it will reflect in the mirror and look twice as large.
I finished potting most of the flowers in the remaining pots. Now I have 5 pots on the top and 4 on the bottom shelf. They will look a lot better once they start filling out. The Geranium suffered a little being inside for a week waiting to go into the largest pot. I'm sure it will recover too.
It looks better from this view.
I have 2 Cucumber plants to get into a pot in the backyard today. I'm going to use a tomato cage for its trellis so I hope that works.
I also need to turn on the iron today because there is a pile on the ironing table waiting for me.

Geraniums are so resilient. There is a wren nest with babies in my hanging geranium basket. Occasionally I can put a tiny bit of water in one edge of the pot opposite the nest but it’s looking pretty sad and has lots of old blooms that need to come off.
The real-life peonies fit so well with your WIP!
I think scented geraniums have to be my favorite plants--I used to have a collection: lemon, rose scented...so neat...the table is looking beautiful...
Only 51 here early this morning--a chilly breeze out there, too...
The lovely flower squares are mounting up;))) this will bw sucha pretty piece...
Hugs for a great Memorial Day weekend...Julierose
Love your post today! So full of flowers! -Roxanne
Isn’t it lovely when flowers are reflected in a mirror? So glad you can enjoy them in the house. Your pots look lovely now so by summer they will be spectacular :-)
Your bouquet of peony are so pretty! I like the way those two flowers pop that are the light background and larger squares. Your table with the pots is looking good!
I agree with down sizing those 3 blocks on your floral top you’re working on and your porch array shouts “welcome to my world”…
Yes to cutting down the 3 blocks you mentioned. And BOO to having to turn on the iron when it is so muggy (here it is, anyway). Gotta do it though (pressed a quilt top this morning, and will do the backing this afternoon).
The peonies are beautiful I tried several times to grow these and failed. I Like how you separated the the flower blocks
I bet the peonies in the bathroom will smell wonderful!
