Trimmed.....................

Purple Rosy has had been trimmed so I will have another binding to do.  I want to finish this one by hand.

That will be good because my main Pfaff machine is having problems.  It has no tension and I have checked everything that I can get to.  I'll bring one of my other machines upstairs.

I looked for binding choices but haven't explored all of the choices yet.  These 2 are possibilities but I need to lay them at the edge of the quilt and see just 3/8" to decide.

Yesterday a friend came over to have me help her with fabric choices for some of her projects.  She brought Subway sandwiches.

Those are some fun choices for binding. How nice she brought lunch! Did you have any cookies from your recent baking for dessert?

I hope you access to someone who can service your machine. That can be a real challenge here.

Oh sorry to hear about Pfaff's tension problem!! Hoping you have a good repair person nearby...
Purple Rosy is so lovely...one of my favorites--altho' I must admit that I do like all your works, Wanda;)))
25 here--and no wind--so I went out and did the food shop early...the store was nice and quiet and the aisles were mostly empty of other carts bossing their way through!! [Shopping carts seem to make a lot of people pretty pushy I find!!]
But I digress!!
Nice that you had those yummy Subways...hugs, Julierose

Purple Rosy is another glorious quilt and you're well on your way to choosing her binding!
Hope your sewing machine repair person can come to your home. My mother's repair guy did that and it was so handy.
38/18 and the ice isn't gone. Tomorrow we may have sleet and snow. Sigh!

Hugs!

Trouble with the sewing machine can be so frustrating and I’m sorry your troubleshooting wasn’t able to solve the issue. How lovely though to have a friend come by and bring lunch. It’s always rewarding helping out a friend and I find it energizes me as well.

Try wedging a credit card between the tension disc. Mostly likely some lint trap in it.

sewing machines can be problem children to me. Sometimes no matter what you do they won't work
