Now I have one and a half sides hand stitched on Purple Rosy. The long side is 82" so I started with that one. I'm really happy with this diagonal stripe for the binding.
These are the colors on the needles for this month's dishcloths.
Today will be 30 degrees and then we will be above freezing for a week..or more. The little bit of snow that was on the grass melted on Friday. There are still small piles at the side of my driveway.

Luv the binding choice! The dishcloths are looking great as well,I usually have at least 2 quilts going with hand stitching , nothing gets done any faster but my brain thinks Im getting 2 finished at the same time 🤣
Weather wise, we get what you have, a day later. This time I'm hoping we get the warm air, but we have well over 6 inches of snow to get melted. That will take more than a few days of warm!
I really think that the binding you chose is just perfect for Purple Rosy...good progress on stitching down the binding!!:)))
0 here this morning (actual temp0 windchill is minus 12!!
Even the floor in our back tv room addition is cold!! ;000
We've been watching some of the Olympics --skating and downhill-- we haven't been able to find the schedule for curling as yet...Stay warm and enjoy your stitching...hugs, Julierose
that quilt is a little larger than I realized. The binding always takes a bit doesn't it. I always like to bind while watching tv. We will be between 60-70 just about all week. Still have a little snow in the shade but it is disappearing much faster now. Because we still have it around though I find it feels cooler outside then I normally would at that temperature.
I love the colors in Purple Rosy. And you've inspired me to go through my bin of floral scraps (left from making two twin-size quilts on commission - never again) and cut 6.5" blocks for a future quilt. Gives me something to do while I wait for cataract surgery on my second eye. Right now my vision is too wonky to try to sew, but I can cut okay.
We're still in the deep freeze. High today will only be 8 and it's going down to minus 6 tonight. Then a warm up to the 20's for the next week or so. We still have plenty of snow on the ground.

That binding is perfect! We are headed for our more normal winter weather pattern this week. It’s felt like summer since the start of the year. Today was 87*!
