I tried to make this as random as possible and still got some of the same fabrics close to each other. It is 15" x 35".
There were enough squares for one more row but one of them would have been repeated 6 times in a row of 24 so I decided not to add it.
This is an interesting combination of colors in this dishcloth. I think I knitted some from this color of yarn when I first started doing them. It is named Violet Stripes by the Lily brand.
Lovely table runner finish, Wanda;))) Your dishcloths are really mounting up well, well;))) 30 here this morning expecting another blast of colder air this coming week...Hope your weekend is a good one...hugs, Julierose
15” is a good width and perhaps there’s a mug rug to be made from the leftovers. We warmed up and it’s 27 this morning but more Friday weather is coming……there’s an igloo icon in the forecast, lol.
What a festive and delightful table runner, Wanda! Love the dishcloth colors, too. Our 4" of snow is a mush, melting (currently frozen on top) mess and our high should be 44*F so maybe most of the snow will be gone by sundown. Then it will be a muddy mess!
Wonderful array of Christmas fabrics in your table runner. How many dish cloths have you made this year ? I think you should count those finishes also.

Did you sew rows or sections? I acquired a similar assortment of Christmas prints, cut up into squares, and they keep coming to the surface.

ReplyDeleteI've got three scrap boxes (large shoe box size est) filled with 3 different sizes of scrap blocks - you are giving me ideas on how to use them.
ReplyDeleteWanda, your table runner is so pretty, love the rich reds and the deep greens.
