It was time to bake some more scones, this time, very berry box mix. My pan has 16 sections and I like that better than my ceramic dish that has 8 sections. I also mixed chocolate chip cookie dough and put it in the refrigerator. I might bake one tray of them this morning.
I started my third of three dishcloths last night. They are all at 35 stitches now and I need to increase them all to 44 stitches before I start decreases.
A few people asked how many do I have right now. There are 26 in this basket after I recently gifted 5 of them. I might be gifting some more of them this week. I have 2 more that are in a plastic bag. About 10 years ago I bought a lot of yarn and a few of the balls were scented. Why? I sure don't know. I don't want those 2 scenting the rest so they are isolated.
I started PT again yesterday (10 sessions) for my left leg. I injured it last summer and it is weaker than my right leg. I'm hoping for some good results.

The middle dishcloth looks like chocolate chips….maybe the power of suggestion from you mixing up the cookie dough ;-)

I think our scone pan makes 8 scones (DH does the baking). Your scones look yummy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a joyous array of dishcloths you've made!
More machine quilting for me today and hope to finish doll quilt #2.
Hugs!

Me too! Every morning. Thank you and happy birthday.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the PT I hope it helps. My exercise has been helping my legs. I love scones and had just put my pan out last night to remind to look for a recipe that I like and don't know where it is!
ReplyDeleteThe scones look yummy! That is one pan I do not have - a scone pan. I have a lot of pans since I used to work for a bakeware manufacturer, but never had a scone pan cross my path. I usually just cut them into triangles and put them on a cookie sheet. I bet the scone pan would give a nice brown bottom and side. The dishcloths are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteGood wishes for a successful PT!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday in advance! I'm not online as much anymore. Regarding your scented dishclothes, you might try using some charcoal ( fish tank or bbq nuggets) I'd put an open bag of it in a large baggie with the dish clothes tucked around the outside. Seal the big bag and give it a couple days. Old fashion clay litter might also work.
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet little tree on the porch ! Is there a reason you knit them 3 at a time ? Maybe I missed something. ;)
