Back to purple Rosy................

The left column is all border blocks.  I finished sewing the last batches of them last night.  I just need to decide now if I like the position of each of them.  Next I need to move all of the blocks 9" to the left so I can work on the right border.

l have enough blocks made for the remaining 3 borders.  Last thing is deciding what I will put at the 4 corners.

We are back to normal weather for this date now, mid 40s to low 50s and mid to high 30s at night.  It was nice to have those days in the 60s and even 70 one day.

  1. The lovely weather must have been a birthday present from Mother Nature :-)

Hope to make some more neutral Ojos today...I'll have to search out more neutral-ish leftover strips...

  4. Quite a contrast from Saturday's unseasonable warmth! Rain in the forecast, and that should knock a lot of leaves off. Rosie is a delight.

  5. Our weather continues to be quite warm, but we are expecting cooler temps later this week. Rosie is moving right along.

  6. I’ve never seen so many purple prints ever … Kind of reminds me when there was the “purple hat society” ~ and they’ve all met for a reunion.

  9. Purple Rosy is certainly a delight!
I'd suggest you consider putting plain squares of the same uncomplicated deep purple fabric in all four corners of the quilt and see how you like it.
    29*F here tonight. Brrrr!

    Hugs!

  10. Purple rosy is beautiful. I can't help buy think how much our Ruthie would have loved it! I like your Christmas lighting outside the door in your other post, too! You have made an early start! But then, you're the busiest woman I know.

  11. Rosy is very beautiful. The colors and values are soothing and perky. It gives me an idea for some sunflower fabrics that I have been hanging on to to make Nine Patch Pizazz, but fell out of love with the pattern.
