I got one short side hand stitched last night.
This small project was just waiting for the border to be sewn on so I took care of that too. It is made of Australian Aboriginal print fabric.
I went shopping for the plants for my porch pots and garage pots so I will be ready to plant on Saturday. It's supposed to go down into the 30s one more night so I'm waiting..........

Great binding choice….I love when the stripe/check/plaid pattern goes diagonal on binding.
ReplyDeleteLove your binding choice! Good luck with your plants. I'm so tempted to buy plants for a couple pots, but I'll need to keep them out of our blazing summer sun.
ReplyDeleteanother tempting post....i love that binding fabric and oh those aboriginals....love!
ReplyDeleteI like the background and border fabric you used in the small project. I'm always a little hesitant to use yellow, and I need to get past that!
ReplyDeletewe had a couple "cool" nights in the 40's but I think that is past us now - near 90 next week I think the cool is gone now
ReplyDeleteI’m anxious to see the entire quilt that you are binding … I have forgotten what that piece looks like and the snippet you showed today it looks like another of your ‘exuberant’ pieces. And a lovely, refreshing table runner so perfect for spring and summer to grace a table.
ReplyDeleteThat binding looks great! I see two more finishes in the near future!
ReplyDeleteThat binding fabric is so perfect! The table runner is really cute too.
ReplyDeleteThat binding fabric looks so amazing--just love it, Wanda!! Great choice...
ReplyDeleteSunny today--so nice after all the rain and gloomy days in a row--61 here. We did our monthly BJ's big shop this morning and also got two shrubs for our new big pots on the edge of our front walk...
I saw tomato plants out, but to me it's still too early. Also they didn't have the varieties I wanted. Waiting for a real warmup and not such cool nights...
