This is one of each of the 6" finished floral squares. There are 4 of almost all of them so I think I have 150 cut so far so I need 9 more fabrics (or duplicates) if I make 4 quilts. I'm considering dropping one of my ideas and then I would only need 5 more. No final decisions at this point.
I need 13 more sets of 3" triangles and I can get then out of some of the smaller pieces of fabric.
Meanwhile I still haven't cleaned off the cabinet top so I haven't been able to start sewing the quarter square triangle blocks. That is on my list today.
The champagne color cacti took its time for the first buds to bloom.
I have now added a birthday bouquet to the table of blooming cacti.
I love that your champagne colored cactus is in a zebra striped pot and there’s a zebra print pillow on your couch :) A table full of flowers sure is cheerful 😀
ReplyDeleteYour little tableful of cacti blooms is so pretty:))) that champagne color is so delicate looking--love it;))) I have a few little buds setting up on my original 3 cacti--the recently bought bi-color is still blooming...a bit of color among all the now bare trees out there.....;)))
ReplyDeleteYour floral blocks look so rich all together--a bouquet of color--really gorgeous, Wanda.
47 here but with a cold north wind blowing...inside "walkies" I think!! :))) Hugs, Julierose
Between your pretty floral fabrics and the "real" flowers, looks quite cheerful at your house!
ReplyDeleteI'm elated to report that both of my bought-last-year cacti have buds! Some are even starting to show a bit of color - I'm so glad I thought to get the liquid fertilizer meant for Christmas Cactus plants. And all thanks to your beautiful blooms, Wanda!
ReplyDeleteLove all the Christmas Cactus!! How pretty!
