A little progress................

Four more strip sets are ready to be pressed and then made into blocks.  This is my favorite of the 4.

I added the other 4 blocks of the original 24 to the design wall.  I need to take this to the basement for a larger design wall before I add any more blocks.

This one that might look like pink on your monitor is actually a coral color and goes well with the other orangey/rusty spots in other blocks.

I got one more batting cut and a backing pieced so my longarm quilter can pick up 2 to be quilted.

  4. one by one you keep getting more to go to the quilter and here I am still working on the same quilt that has occupied my time for months now. How you get to it almost every single day is so nice - I wish I could keep in a good routine and get this one finished that I am working on. I already have another in my mind to start working on.

  6. Your posts of late, show you are really moving with this quilt and adding more blocks yet PLUS getting 2 more quilts ready for Robin, also.

  7. I'm intrigued by these strip quilts you make--turning them sometimes horizontal and sometimes vertical. I have looked in the side bar for any instructions you give and not finding anything. Maybe I don't know the term to look for. Can you direct me to the right link? You have a gift for combining fabrics in the blocks!

    1. thanks, Wanda, for your reply in your recent post. I'll go back and check my google account (as I know you have replied to me personally in the past) and will also look for more info on this pattern per your instructions.

  8. I really like how you have the rectangles going vertically. What size did you cut them? I am guessing 2 1/2 x 4 1/2?
