Sewn, ready for pressing................

The top is sewn as of 9:30 last night.  I'll press it and photograph it today.  I just love the pink and gray combination.  Now I'm not unhappy I overcut the number of pink triangles I needed for the previous 2 quilts.  It made this one a fast project.

I always pre-order some new Kaffe fabrics that come out in February and end of August.  This one is my favorite so I got 1 yard of it.

This was my next favorite so I got a little of each color.

  1. Great work getting those all sewn together!!:)))
AND I love those fabrics too, but I was just saying to myself (self and I have a lot of conversations lately, it seems!) that I have way too much fabric still--All I seem to work with are small pieces and the bigger pieces in stash never get used...!!! Strange...
58 here this morning and skies are pretty gray...rain is supposed to start @ noontime and then heavier rains overnight...
Covid-19 shots day has arrived...fingers crossed for no bad reactions...

  2. The new Kaffe fabrics are beautiful. I am amazed at how prolific he has been through the years. Our weather is somewhat milder these days and I am really enjoying the change.

  5. Your pink/grey happy quilt came together so quickly! Might you add a border after you see it hanging up?
Love your bright and cheerful new Kaffe fabrics. Yum! Now you just have to wait from them to arrive.
