Second finish for September 2024................

This was a fun and fast quilt.  It doesn't have an obvious focal point so it is going to look great crumpled up on the sofa.  It's just a celebration of a favorite color combination, pink and green.  It's a combination of Kaffe collective and Tula Pink fabrics.

It is 59" x 82" and has Hobbs 80/20 batting in it.  It was quilted by my longarm friend Robin Diaz.

I think the Kaffe Fassett Hydrangea fabric was perfect for the back.  The binding is one of the larger Kaffe prints but it works well as the edge finish with more than one shade of green and also includes pink.

Tomorrow is my pacemaker replacement unless the dr./hospital changes it.

Oh good luck tomorrow--I will be sending good thoughts your way;)))
What a pretty pink and green quilt top!! That backing is such a great choice. I will be trying to get my Willy-Nilly backing put together the next few days...going to try to use up a lot of older Christmas fabrics for it...
58 here this morning and cloudy--a bit more humid at 91%--we've had such lovely weather this past two weeks...
Hugs, Julierose

Pink and green together always make a bright, happy quilt. Best wishes for that procedure. Zero fun, I'm sure, but at least there is something happy to come home to and cuddle up in.

Very pretty! I love how the partial stars, pinwheels, and squares appear and disappear as I look around the quilt.
Best wishes for the pacemaker, both keeping the schedule and the actual procedure/recovery!

Such a cheery quilt. A good one to work on as you wait for your surgery. I hope all goes well and you'll be back in the quilt studio in no time.
