We got up to 63 degrees yesterday and there may be snow on grassy areas by tomorrow morning. Then back up to 50 by Sunday and 68 a few days later. I hope the Redbud trees don't think it's time to bloom because there could be several more freezes coming. I have lived in this house almost 52 years and I only remember 2 years where the buds froze and we had very little or no blooming.
Sunshine now (9 a.m.) but they predict freezing rain later today. The X and O layout is great.
ReplyDeleteX’s & O’s really shows off your rich warm flannel fabrics .
ReplyDeleteMy sister lives in Sandwich also and she had a yard full of Robins yesterday and we too up have seen them coming back into the valley even earlier this year. It’s been quite an unusual winter season no matter where you live . And I agree we’ll probably get slammed with a good ole snow fall before we can say it’s really spring.

Love your growing number of Xs and Os! You are making such a warm, cozy, and colorful quilt that will be loved by some lucky someone.
ReplyDeleteIt's raining cats and dogs here.
Hugs!
Rich and warm looking. They all work so well together. Warm here also, but not that warm. Any snow from last weekend is gone.
ReplyDeletesuch a different color palette than your usual...nice blocks but not too exciting color wise
