My last sewing project before Christmas was this Christmas stocking. I had to embroider the cuff twice because I wasn't happy with the first font I chose.
A family member is sick so we won't be getting together today. I guess that means I can sew.....
Merry Christmas, Wanda
ReplyDeleteLots of sickness going around these days, so far we are still healthy. Merry Christmas and happy sewing!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! It's a Rainey morning here,I'm not due at my nieces till later this evening so maybe I'll have time to finish some sewing
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas

ReplyDeletemy son's coming tomorrow...but happy that Candice is coming this afternoon...
Merry Christmas and enjoy your sewing...hugs, Julierose
Merry Christmas and thank you for all the enjoyment you provide throughout the year.
ReplyDeleteWe are the sick ones in our family, but hoping for negative tests and a get together later in the week. This wasn't what we asked for for Christmas!
Cheers,
Ceci
Beautiful stocking, unusual name. No grandkids for Christmas even though they live across the street as they were exposed to someone who was sick. I would see them regardless, but they are not willing. The PA grandkids went home yesterday, so a very too quiet Christmas. Maybe I can sew.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you too Wanda. And what an adorable print on Fletcher’s sock. He will enjoy it for years to come.
ReplyDeleteIt’s been along time since I’ve turned on my embroidery machine. Fletcher’s name on his sock inspires me to do something on my machine again too.
Christmas supper here at our house today. And looking forward our gathering. We talked an hour and a half to our family in Port Orchard, Washington via Face Time yesterday. And opened our gifts from each other on camera. A Contemporary Christmas with them….

Merry Christmas, Wanda... even if family cannot gather, the Lord is with you!
ReplyDeleteWhen Fletcher is older he will love his perfectly wonderful Christmas stocking made for him with love sewn in. Now his parents will love it!
ReplyDeleteHope the sick will be made well and your family gathering can happen then.
Merry Christmas, Wanda!
Hugs from outside Richmond, VA
Merry Christmas. Here’s hoping you can gather with family soon.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Wanda. We are having a quiet Christmas day too.
ReplyDeleteHope you do your quilt project year in review - I love seeing all of your creations.
Better to stay safe these days. Hope you had a pleasant day with lots of calls from family and friends. Best wishes for a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThe stocking turned out great! So sorry to hear about the illness keeping everyone apart. My sister’s son has Covid really bad so their Christmas is being put on hold. They live in Georgia. I have home all day just hanging out, cross stitching, and watching movies and football. Wishing you a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLots of colds going around this month. I hope you can get together with everyone soon and gift this cute stocking!
