I put the final stitch in the binding at 10:23 last night so it was too late to take its portrait. I had stitched for about 40 minutes in the morning before I had to leave for the reunion and just had about 40" left to stitch.
My 25 mile drive home was facing the bright sun and that was pretty hard on my eyes. I needed to rest awhile so I didn't get to the stitching until later in the evening.
The 65th class reunion was a lot of fun. There were 11 class members and 3 spouses.
My monthly recap will be on tomorrow's post.

Hi Wanda, Glad you had a good time at your reunion! I had my 50th a few weeks ago in Minnesota. We all had a great time just visiting! My graduating class was 112, 10 have passed, and 50 members plus a bunch of spouses showed up!
Congratulations on that beautiful finish, Wanda:)))
56.4 degrees here this morning and foggy--hoping the sun will come out and play nice today. We've had so much grayness and rain this past week...
Hugs for a wonderful, restful Sunday :=))) Julierose
That second photo really shows how well the binding choice works - a beautiful finish!!
sounds like you had a nice time at the reunion - driving with the sun in your eyes is not fun even sunglasses do not always help with that.
Nice to have the binding done!
What a good use of your time Saturday and am so glad you enjoyed your reunion! Isn't it amazing that all of your classmates have gotten so old?!
Love your newly finished quilt's binding. Just perfect!
Hugs!
A great way to end the month!
Looking forward to seeing quilt for its formal portrait. Your quilts are always great show pieces.

I do like this quilt, the KF stripes show off beautifully.
How cool that your school still has class reunions! My class doesn't have them anymore and I probably wouldn't drive 3 hours for it anyway. My one friend from school died a few years ago and I don't keep up with anyone else.
Love this bright, vibrant looking quilt! The colors and fabrics are wonderful.:) And kudos to you making it to your 65th class reunion. The last one I went to (our 20th), I said never again. All the drinking etc. Just turned me off!
This is my kind of quilt...the colors are so wonderful xoxo
