I stuck with it and got all of the sashing strips sewn, 3 rows of them. Now that it is all sewn together I must turn the iron on. I didn't look for the outside border fabric yet. In fact I never made it to the basement yesterday. On a normal day I'm up and down the stairs at least 5 times. Instead I ran a couple errands between raindrops. Today I need to get serious about getting this top finished.

Happy sewing to you today! It's going to be beautiful!
God job getting that finished!! ;)))
55 here this morning; gray and clouded over...nice though to have yellow/orange leaves to brighten up the day;)) Have a wonderful weekend hugs, Julierose
some days we just need to get those errands done and don't get done with a lot of other things. It is going to be gloomy here through the weekend - finally getting our rain but they say 4 inches through Monday - I think I will be inside after I get my hair cut later today.
I can see pressing Bear Paw is quite a job ~ but I’m here cheering you on. Hope your plans for the day goes well.
More snow over night here…. And crazy low temps. Mother Nature’s calendar is way ahead of mine.

Wow, you're making astonishing progress on this quilt! Hope the best outer border fabric almost jumps out of the stack to get your attention.
Hugs!
I read somewhere that we need to do 5 sets of stairs a day for heart health. Keep it up!
Can't wait till you choose a border - I love what I've seen up to this point!
It's going to a quilt with so much depth in color, textures....beautiful! Enjoy the weekend.....Deb E.
