More blocks, and even more blocks, for the African 16 patch quilt. I had several other things to take care of yesterday so this is the only action that happened in the studio.
We had sunshine part of the day yesterday, more light rain for today. I'm not complaining about the rain though, we still need more. Maybe I can get some vacuuming done in the basement while it rains.
we had very light rain then sun and maybe rain by end of week? I will believe it when it gets here!!
ReplyDeleteYour pretty blocks are mounting up well;)))
ReplyDeleteSunny and cool here today--only 62 at 9:45...went food shopping early--I think the summer crowds have left now (except for weekenders, of course)-as the store was not crowded at all--nice!! Hugs, Julierose
What joyful and colorful blocks and do I ever understand the daily stuff that interferes with sewing time!
ReplyDeleteOur high today is to be 79*F with rain likely tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday. We need it. Come on sweet rain!
Hugs!
Nice combination of the two genres.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blocks using the African fabrics! I looked at those little beauties & am now thinking maybe I'll actually USE some of my fabrics and make some of my own. It's turning out so beautifully. I WISH we had rain here -- at least its not in the 90's and 100's...the 80's are very comfortable. But I'd love a few days of rain to wash everything down. Something about sewing while its raining outside, with a cuppa on the table, some music playing -- it won't be long till I can enjoy it all, hopefully. Hope you're having a lovely day today. ReplyDeleteI got all my pieces cut for Appalchian Autumn and cleaned up all the leftover batiks. All I have to cut are the sashing pieces.Beautiul day here and cabinets got installed.
ReplyDeletePreparing for company and posting photo’s every day ~ no doubt there has been a lot on your plate to keep up with. Fascinating combinations shown today,
