It was a beautiful day yesterday with the humidity dropping quite a bit. I did errands in the morning and then mid afternoon mowed the grass in the shady backyard and the side yard. I finished the mowing before dark.
In minutes stolen here and there during the day I sewed some more of the little 4" (finished size) 16 patches and cut the rest from already sewn stratas. I wonder what I will do today.
nice patchwork looking forward to seeing what you turn them into
ReplyDeleteGood deal getting that mowing done! And those little patches are so brilliantly colored--really pretty;))
ReplyDeleteWe had thunder rumbling all night and lots of lightning, but as usual only o.33" of rain.
It's 71 here with 69 DP today--so maybe it'll dry out enough so we can do some deck-sitting again. This has been a terrific week for it; I wish all Summer would be like this one has been...so lovely for sitting and quilting..
hugs, Julierose
Those look like "seeds" for an exciting quilt! Saturday was lovely here, too.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a busy day yesterday and yet you took time to stitch up some vibrant and pretty little squares.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear your humidity came down.

Goodness! What delicious itty bitty squares you used to make those itty bitty 16 patch blocks. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
They look so tiny!
