Binding chosen and sewn on............

Yesterday morning started with light rain so I went to the basement and did a load of laundry and chose and cut the binding for the Australian Churn Dash quilt.  It was a gentle rain and we got .15".

I got the binding sewn on the quilt after lunch and later in the afternoon started the hand stitching.  I think the binding looks good with both sides of the quilt.  I have one long side finished and a start on a short side.  This will probably take me 3 days to finish.

  1. Great choice for the binding--it does look good on both sides--and that is not always easy to achieve!!
