I sewed 4 more heart blocks. I just need another 4 for an 80 block total. The quilt will still be only 48" x 60" so I'm still trying to decide if it needs to be larger. I could add some pink 4 patch blocks here and there and increase it to 54" x 66". I am cutting these blocks with an Accuquilt GO die.
I also sewed 3 more Snail's Trail blocks. This makes a total of 15. I think I need I need at least 35 blocks for a quilt 60" x 84". I'll cut some more blocks today with my die cutter.
I have the binding hand sewn on 2 sides of this quilt now. I also hand sewed one side of the baby 16 patch binding.
I had 1.9" of rain in my rain gauge yesterday. The rain started after midnight and continued off and on during the daylight hours. We need the moisture since we have had very little rain or snow this winter so far.

I like that backing and binding on the last quilt. our rain came back in the night after having been dry all yesterday - at least we are not getting the snow that the northern part of the state is getting.
I love that fabric you are using in the snails trail blocks! You are making good progress on all of these projects. Sounds like you are very close to having both of those quilts finished. Have a great weekend!
Heart combinations you featured today are so captivating. One so vibrant and the other so soft and muted, and together they make the wow factor. Love them.
Snails trail fabrics, like a frosty mirage to add to the rest of them…… and your bindings are always so pristine.

The blocks look great. The finished ones will be worth the wait.
