A month of Sundays could have a couple different meanings. My first thought was the number of Sundays in a month, 4 or 5. Then I did a search and found the most common meaning is an extremely long time. That's how long this project is going to take because I'm only going to sew on it on Sundays. This is just a sample of strips I have pieced so far, not the final layout. I won't press any of the finished strips until I do figure out the layout so I can press the seams in opposing directions.
Back in December Cathy posted a photo of an antique quilt on her blog. I knew I would have to make my version of it and that is what these will be used in. Julie also liked it and has made her version already.
Snow predicted overnight into early this morning and 80 predicted for Saturday. Just a little taste of April in Illinois.

Another fun project to watch. I don't remember you doing a Sunday only project before. After reappearing, Bloglovin' is down again, at least for me.
Oh hooray - I love your approach to this one!!
Hi Wanda,
You certainly are going like a house afire. All of these projects are delightful to follow. I've been enjoying your comments about your Christmas cacti. I still have two with a few blooms on. They have all been late this year. I, too, did not see you on my Blogovin this morning, but tracked you down with exuberantcolor.blogspot.com. Thanks for all the daily inspiration!
Here in NE Ohio we have sleet right not and continuing on between the rain until snow at 7 tonight. About two thirds rain and one third sunshine the rest of the week. I like the vintage quilt on Cathy's blog and can see why you would want to make your own version.
Enjoyed seeing the many designs you can create with your ‘triangle squares’. ‘A month old Sundays’…. I remember Mom using that term may times as I was growing up. There were lots of those old sayings in the 40’s ‘n 50’s. That I too use myself still today.

P.S. “a month OF Sundays”. These computers take over too many times.
No use in rushing it, I say! I think mine will take a month of Sundays and Mondays and Tuesdays. I just make HST strips as scraps happen and some of my HSTs might be a bit wonky. What you have so far is a delightful mix of fabrics.
I woke up to snow on the ground and the daffodils this morning. Ugh!
Love this quilt. So fun.hmmmm where's my hst bin
We'll need to tune in to see if you keep to that "only on Sunday" plan. Me? I get impatient and forge ahead.
