My biggest accomplishment yesterday was getting my taxes done and filed.
With that done I could turn to laundry and then finally to sewing one Winged Square block.
I should have filled the birdfeeders yesterday while it was in the 40s. Today will be in the low 20s. I think I will spend time cleaning up the basement and maybe piece a backing for another flannel quilt. I have fabrics chosen, it is just a matter of actually doing it.
Ugh, taxes! Must be so nice to that out of the way. We’ve had an abundance of birds at our feeders. It’s been fun watching them.
ReplyDeleteThose blues are SO pretty--this may be my favorite block...
ReplyDeleteGood for you getting your taxes done early--we did too..hugs, Julierose
Doing taxes always takes more time than I think. Fortunately, we have done ours too. One block with more than 50 pieces plus taxes is accomplishing a lot!
ReplyDeletestill need to do the taxes here, Mike has always done them so I let him have the "fun" - I need to fill the feeders here too and put a light cover back over my strawberries for the week
ReplyDeleteHi Wanda, I've been enjoying your series on Winged Square blocks. They're so pretty! What size are the HSTs and the finished blocks?
ReplyDeleteIs that a new fabric in the bigger squares? I like this block!
ReplyDeleteTaxes. Yeah. I need to get started on that, too. Just waiting for a couple more things to come in. And a big slice of "want to"!
