I'm just playing around with the leftover narrow strips of Marcia Derse fabric making 8.5" x 11" pieces. I got two of them sewn together but not trimmed to size yet.
I got the third one planned and have sorted all of the other colors into groups, more playing until I decide what to do next.
I was not getting comments sent to my email yesterday so I decided to remove my email address and then re-insert it and hope it would work. Instead there is no way to enter an email address in the box. I left them a feedback message, like that is going to make any difference. Google has changed the Blogger settings so you don't have much control over anything any more. I think I fixed this, there is a place to "add people to receive notice of comments" so it looks like maybe the comments will come to my email again.
LOVE the green blocks!!
ReplyDeleteThe green blocks are so pretty! Love all the texture the MD fabric have.
ReplyDeleteYour emails working ok - I got 3 notifications in my email today which included the last 2 days. Keep having fun with your leftovers. We had more snow overnight but not too much in my area :)
ReplyDeleteMarcia Derse leftovers are the very best kind! I too am partial to the greens.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks are very soothing to me. I don't like the changes Blogger has made. I used to be able to add a bunch of photos at a time, but now they get scrambled and I have to add them one at a time. Just one wrinkle.
ReplyDeletePlayful creating is the best, and these 3 blocks certainly show it.
ReplyDeleteGoogle sure enjoys changing their system all the time.

ReplyDeleteNice fabrics!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun leftovers
ReplyDeleteI love leftovers . . . whether in the fabric pile or from the night before's dinner :)
ReplyDeleteDid you know Google changed its name to Alphabet? I am sure there is a reason, but I don’t know why. Love your scrappy pieces!
ReplyDeleteI always love playing with the leftovers of my quilt projects. Sometimes I like the leftover project better than the original!
