Moving things from place to place.........

I'm not sure I made any progress on reorganization of my cutting dies but it took up many hours yesterday.  I didn't sew anything but took a little time to pet fabric.

My red cactus is blooming away.  It looks like many more buds will open but the tiniest ones will probably dry up and fall off.  The angel has been watching over my cacti for several years since a friend gave it to me.

It was another cold day yesterday so the only time I was outside was to walk to the end of the driveway for my newspapers.  November is going to end without any measurable snowfall.  By Thursday we are supposed to be up to the mid 50s again so maybe that will be the last day for cleanup of my pots.

  1. Beautiful red cactus blooms--so cheery!! I love that Guardian Angel watching over it...cold here right now, too: only 30 degrees this morning early...

  2. Beautiful blooms. A bit snow clad here and cold. Streets are clear. If only I could finish quilting the guild Raffle quilt! 2 more passes, but each one takes 2 hours. Then I can go back and piece again.

  3. The cacti are so pretty! I didn't realize it was going to warm up a bit until I read your post today. That is good news since I need to transplant that volunteer lavender plant and give all my lavender a haircut. Thank goodness for one more opportunity.

  4. several in the north have said they have had no measurable snow so far this year, I hope we are not going to have a dry winter we are already on the edges of a drought here even though we have had a little rain off and on we have been fairly dry since early August

  5. DH has checked the weather forecast here and decided Thursday will be the day to plant the 60 daffodil bulbs he gave me for my September birthday. Temps expected in the mid to upper 60s. Then it will be back to much chillier levels again. Reorganizing makes such a mess but in the end things are much better. Good luck with it.

  6. Good to see flourishing blossoms on your cactus. Wishing it was mine. . . . Unusually warm here and to continue for another week.
