I sewed the second section of this older project. It is still in 2 pieces. I need to sew a duplicate of both to be turned upside down and put above these. Then all of the rest of the pieces will be added to the sides to make it wider. Right now it is 32" square.
I die cut more pieces for the Bear Paw blocks. Now I need to concentrate on cutting the triangles so I will have more variety to work with.
I changed thread on my machine to match the binding for the colorwash so I'll get that sewn on today.
We finally got a little rain yesterday afternoon. We had only a trace the night before. My rain gauge said .35" from the afternoon rain.

You are making nice progress on both projects! I don't know how much we got, but it rained on Sunday here and it was enough to give everything a nice drink. Rainn is kind of hit or miss for the next week. I just know I need it to be dry for a day or two so I can mow the front yard. It is getting kind of long.
That “older” project is going to be gorgeous!
We had 3" of rain from pre-dawn Sunday to mid-afternoon Tuesday. Still gloomy and damp as a stationary front is stalled right over us keeping warmer air from moving in. Hoping the predicted 70's for the rest of the week materialize so I can get some more clean-up done outdoors.

I love Bear Paw blocks. I've been away from internet service for a couple weeks so I have some catching up to do! Hoping for good leaf color when we get back to our Blue Ridge home.
