Quilt top finished.............

I started out the day yesterday cleaning off a table top and made good headway after 3 hours of moving things where they belong.

Last night I sewed the last seam in the half hexagon quilt top.

I cut the pieces for this quilt with my die cutter sometime in late 2019 or early 2020.

I need to do the staystitching around the perimeter now so no seams will pop.  Maybe I can get a better photo then with some lighting on the bottom half.

I think we had our last frost warning last night into this early morning so now maybe I can get my porch pots planted and put them out on the steps.

Love it. Will be planting tomatoes out here (W. WA) in the next week or so. But 1st a trip to the beach-my heaven :-)

Love the value shifts in the quilt. It looks like some rich fabrics in the darks. It really reads as a whole unit in sparkle and colors.

it looks great! is this late in the year for a frost date I don't remember from when I lived in the north

Such a lovely flimsy...do you always stay stitch around the edges? I hadn't until recently--but I like how it does stabilize those seam ends...otherwise a lot of them pop apart...
It "looks " pretty outside here, but still having cold wind...but a bit warmer...hugs, Julierose

Very nice job on the quilt. I hope we had our last frost last night...I've been covering roses and peonies. Our official date is like the 15th so the weather gods are pushing it....

A finish always feels good I'm sure. Your combinations for each hexagon are wonderful. Especially seen on the 'BIG' desk top computer.
