I had 3 finishes in March. The table runner is a long one 18 x 53". The Bear Paw quilt is all batik fabrics and is 54" x 67.5". The Kaffe Collective cool 16 patch is 59" x 79.5.
I completed one quilt top, ZAP! which is 53" x 65".
For my own record I need to document the finish of this quilt in addition to the photo in the collage above.
It is made of mostly Kaffe Collective prints with the exception of a Martha Negley print as the insert fabric on both sides.
The backing fabric is the same Martha Negley print with an insert of the 3 leftover blocks.
I decided I needed to look one more time for the binding fabric and this third choice is the one I used. The other 2 were shown yesterday.
Love all your finishes, especially the BLUE 16 patch. You had a busy month but I know you love what you do. The past 3 days have been sunny so I managed an hour each day cutting/cleaning up in the garden, a job I'm glad is out of the way. Had both my jabs. Daughter back to work tomorrow after 4 months, so more time for myself to sew, without interruptions. Hope the weather is being kind to you :)
ReplyDeleteQuite a busy month for you; love all your finishes; the runner is really a nice one...love the colors....nice works hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteGood job on those finishes for March. Any one of those three fabrics would have looked good for the binding.
ReplyDeleteThree fabulous quilt finishes and that third binding option on the final quilt was definitely the charm, Wanda!
ReplyDeleteWhat a grand post to end the month of March and to kick off April. Your creativity with fabrics is always phenomenal.

Fabulous finishes for March Wanda. I love the blue 16 patch.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the sixteen patch. But Zap comes in as a close second!
ReplyDeleteI just love your cool 16 patch! Gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteZAP is still my favourite, I like the size you've gone for with this. 16 patch is a close second.
