I also got one backing sewn together yesterday so I'm one step closer to having a finish this month.

I had to make 2 more..................
After making the first 2 blocks with the mottled batik fabric in the X position I thought maybe this might be a good quilt to use a wide variety of mottled batik fabrics. I have a 15" high pile of mottled batiks in many different colors. They have been sitting on one of my cutting tables for many months while I tried to decide how to use them. I have several white with gray prints to use as the light fabric and many black background with gray batiks for the diamonds. (Block is Hattie's Choice cut with a GO die.)

Seeing the four blocks together I like how some nice curves are developing. Fabrics look great, of course!
That is a lot of points that meet in the center, shows your expertise in sewing. I like the mottled batiks.
I think I have s bit of the mottled batik that is in the upper left and lower right blocks. They blocks look great, but complicated to put together. I can see that accuracy is a must!
I have the die for the corners but not the other - I do have the ruler - which dies do you have that make this block? I might need to add it to my "want to have" list
I would love to see you pursue this one. They look really interesting together.
I love the stars that emerge with four sections...very pretty, Wanda hugs, Julierose
I like the secondary design this creates!
Hattie's Choice is such great design and your voice of fabrics make sensational blocks. I love your blocks and look forward to seeing many more.

This will be a fun one to watch!
Amazing block and the secondary in the centre is exciting. I've actually ever heard of this block before.
Very striking! Love those blocks and the mottled batiks pop!
I've also enjoyed seeing the plants too. Thank you.
Another one to watch closely. Love the secondary pattern and the "circle"
You never cease to amaze
Those are beautiful and look like challenging blocks.
I love these blocks!
