Next in line............

This onion rings top will be the next in line to be quilted.  I had the batting cut off the roll last week but needed to cut it to the right length.

This older Kaffe fabric will be the back.  I got the 2 pieces cut yesterday and spritzed the fold marks.  While they were drying I did a load of laundry.

I went out and filled the birdfeeders because it was 57 degrees outside in the afternoon.  By the time I went to bed it was 25 and heading down lower overnight.

They are saying 10 overnight tonight and 22 on Christmas day.

  1. And here our temps are on the rise; 47 right now and heavy rain and wind storm on our doorstep...we've had phone warnings from power company that outages are
expected--Well, it is 2020 still, right?
Hope your Holiday is a happy one hugs, Julierose

  2. We will be getting some of that cold down here... in the teens overnight and 20s in the day. They say wind chills will be very low. We are ready... Our propane is full so if the rain turns to ice it will still be a cozy Christmas in KY!!! Hope you stay warm and busy as we head for the new New Year! Wishing you the best!

  3. Our weather has not dropped yet, but later in the day. We are due for lots of rain, synoptic snow, and then lake effect. Depending on where the band sets up, we could get 6-11" of snow. Our Christmas dinner plans are on hold until we see what happens. I have been trying to piece the back of the Christmas trees and wrap a few presents.

  4. Have a Merry Christmas - it will be cold here too but warm back up for the weekend so I guess I can deal with two chilly days.

  8. Oh, what a treat to see them all together! I'm glad you enjoy them and that it actually made it. I think a few went missing this year.

  9. After an hour or two of intense summer-worthy thunderstorms (lighting was beyond impressive), our temps dropped 30 degrees. Sunny and cold today - refreshing actually. Will be happy to see the onion rings quilted.

Winter temps in the mountains has been up and down also. But nice snows in the mountains for my skiers.
