5 inch squares..................

One of the online sources had a discounted price on the 5" squares of the new Kaffe collective fabrics.  It is one of the best ways to see what all of the colorways look like.

There were a couple that surprised me and a couple that I doubt I would ever want to own.  This is the warm colors.  I haven't opened the cool color package yet.

The weather reporters have reversed their prediction and now say starting Tuesday we will have nice cool weather and possibly a substantial amount of rain.  I'll believe the rain when I see it.

  1. I bought a few pieces of the new Kaffe this week too. I hope you get some rain next week. This weekend our high temperatures will be in the upper 90's, Tuesday 71 and then the shocker, Wednesday's high will only be 57 degrees! The best part is we are expecting rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.

KF always has interesting, vibrant prints doesn't he?

  3. It looks like the edges are not pinked, which is a plus in my book. I stopped buying charm packs because of that. Still very dry here and all the plants looks a bit bedraggled.

  5. I'm hoping for the forecast rain for tomorrow also. Even if it fizzles out, at least it won't be followed by hot/humid this round. I may need to stop at the shop that carries KF fabrics after my dentist appointment in a couple of weeks.

  7. I am so easily influenced; went and bought the same 2 charm square packs immediately. They will take forever to come and I will have forgotten ordering, I expect, so there will be a fun mystification when they come too.

  8. What a great Kaffe package for 'show 'n tell'. And knowing you ~ you will work each one into one of your designs. 5" is a fair size to work with. They all shout "Exuberant Color"

  9. I think my favorite of the new ones is wisteria in the teal background color. I guess it's in the cool pack. I don't usually buy charm packs. I like the layer cake size better, but it's a good way to see a sample of them all.
