I had seen a couple of the quilts from this book on the web. I love seeing how Kaffe and his crew use the Collective fabrics in their quilts. So many times they use the ones that I didn't purchase.
One of those fabrics is in the setting triangle at the top of this quilt. I did not buy that one. There are some pretty quilts in this book, some really simple ones that are quite striking because of the fabric choices.
I'm rarely looking out the window at sunset time but happened to look up at just the right moment last night. I have lots of trees on the back lot line so I had to aim high to get this photo. There is a little glare from the window across the tops of the trees but I'm just happy to capture the color.
Gorgeous sunset, Wanda!! Enjoy your new book.
ReplyDeleteOh that color is wonderful in your sunset photo;))

Hugs while waiting for the storms Julierose
Good morning Wanda. Your sunset is beautiful and the early delivery of Fassett's new book must have put a huge smile on your face when it was delivered. Have fun figuring out which one of the quilts will be first on your list, and what fabrics you will use for it. Enjoy your day!

ReplyDeleteIf I want a photo of the sunset I usually have to walk to the garden to take a photo because of all the trees. Nice book!
