I decided to sew this quilt top together for another finish for June. I still have 3 rows to sew so I'll finish it this morning. I didn't get anything quilted and totally finished so a couple tops sound good for my monthly total.
It cooled off last evening after a few storms passed near us but it was still tropical humidity. I went out and pulled some grass around my peonies and found a few other weeds to pull.
I will be mentioning my pop-up shop every day until it opens so newcomers and occasional readers will know about it.
The pop up shop will be July 7 - 12. It will open for email subscribers at noon ET on July 7 and at noon ET on July 8 for the public. It will close at midnight ET on July 12. There is a form on my right sidebar to subscribe to the email list or use this link. If you signed up previously you don't need to sign up again.
you might not have gotten any quilting done but you have done a lot of piecing and gardening - all those weeds take time!
ReplyDeleteThe fabrics in this quilt top are the bomb! It is going to be such a beautiful quilt! Lucky for you that you got some rain. We have no rain in the forecast at all! That means I have to water every night especially when it gets into the 90's everyday starting Thursday.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your top all sewn together. Pulling weeds takes a lot of time. It's a non-ending job. Good that you got some rain. We didn't. Now going out to water my garden.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the top sewn. Those weeds just keep emerging no matter how many we pull. Can't let those flowers be overtaken!
ReplyDeleteI'll look forward to the BIG quilt top reveal (and to seeing what you've listed in the Pop-Up Shop, too!)
ReplyDeleteBy 8-8:30 am we are back indoors - heat index currently over 100. UGH. Looking forward to seeing the completed top.
