After a day of mowing grass and binding a quilt Friday I was just too tired to do much of anything yesterday. I sewed borders on this little 20" x 24" playtime patchwork. I think I started it about 2 years ago. Now trying to decide if I'll add another wider piano key type border or is it done.
I did go out and cut down a bunch of volunteer trees.
I knitted while I watched the news and went to bed early. I'll work on my monthly recap post today.
Love the little quilt. I think piano keys is a great idea to pull the color out even farther. Rest up, you did a whole lot the other day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mini quilt - it has a lot of personality just 'as is'....thanks for sharing! Deb E / CA
ReplyDeleteThat little quilt is so cute and the dishcloth is so pretty. I know what you mean about being tired from the yardwork. This morning I felt like I had been hit by a truck after all the hours I spend yesterday working in the garage. I have to use every muscle in my body to move the one library table off the other and get it upright. I rubbed some cream my brother gave me that is advertised for arthritis on my legs and arms, and took a couple of Excedrin so I am feeling ok right now.
ReplyDeleteYour playtime patchwork is so pretty! It looks perfect to me just as it is, but I'm sure what ever you decide will be the right choice.
ReplyDeleteNow I am curious to see if you will add onto your "playtime patchwork" design or not. (*._.*) Always fun to wait and see what you will end up doing.
ReplyDeletePretty dishcloth in the works.

Cute little playtime patchwork. And the dishcloth - Oh so pretty. I am tired today from stuff I did in the garden. Just not as young as I used to be, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI love this little quilt just as it is right now!
