Another layout..........

I added some of the darkest yellows back in and sewed the new blocks (fabrics shown yesterday) so there was a little more orange.  7 x 9 is the layout I had planned, 56" x 72".  I have enough leftover blocks to make it 7 x 10 but am not sure I will add them.  I see I have one block turned sideways (top row, 4th from the left).
I did some weeding, filled the bird feeders and bird bath and then took some photos.  I rarely find 2 Jack-in-the-Pulpit flowers so close to each other.  They are surrounded by a zillion Lily of the Valley and Violet plants.

And then there are 2 cute tomatoes for a future salad.

I've been busy the past week so only just caught up on your last 5 posts - I thought I'd been busy until I saw all that you'd accomplished haha - lovely sewing and the garden is looking good :)

You'd probably find this on your own, but also second row third from the left. Always great to see your 16-patches!

The top row second from the left is turned also. I really like this layout. The lower left corner is a bit dark though. Granted it may not look that dark in person.

I like the addition of the yellows. The two darkest blocks, according to the photo, are in the same row. Not sure if that was intentional. Overall, a stunning quilt with deep color movement. Fantastic fabric combos.

I, too, love the addition of yellows!
It is beautiful!
I don't know how you get so much done!

Those golden blocks add extra glow and they bring out the sparkling hues from the other blocks. TRULY LOVE this jewel 16 patch !

Glad you brought back the golden yellows - and those greens in your garden are luscious.

I would think that it's SEW easy to get these blocks turned the "wrong" way, Wanda. I appreciate your tutorial on pressing them for ease of assembly. I might NEVER have figured that out on my own!
