I put my 5 Spring Star blocks back up on the design wall and hope to make block #6 today. Then I will work on the pieced sashing.
I got a good photo of the texture created by the matchstick quilting on this table runner.
One of my batik mottles was perfect for the back. This red leans a little more toward orange than the prints on the front.

Those 16 patch blocks look like the ones I made! LOL!!! I can't wait to see how they look with the way you plan on putting them together. The table runner is beautiful. That matchstick quilting is stunning!
Purple & Red - lovely together :)
A little bit here and a little bit there seems to be the best way to get a quilt done during these trying times. Nice progress, Wanda!
Beautiful table runner - definitely a day brightener. Your sixteen patches are gorgeous - so full of saturated goodness. And those spring stars . . . oh be still my heart.
Wanda, your work is so inspiriing to me. I truly enjoy seeing what you do, and then one of ideas just pushes a button and I get busy. Thanks for being so generous and sharing!
Such a happy post today Wanda ~ new blocks, spring stars back up on your design wall, and oh your match stick runners, make me smile with your supreme stitching.

I am so excited by your plans for the African fabrics! I still have many yards of Aboriginal fabrics and the solids I used in that quilt. I could easily see your 16patches as an option. I will watch your posts!
Beautiful stars lining up there! Your work always inspires. Thank you.
