Corners started.............

I did a lot of sewing of 9 patches to get caught up on previous rows and made enough of the last row of 9 patches to start sewing the 2 opposite corners.  There isn't room on the design wall to put the upper left corner on the wall but I had just enough room at the bottom right to pin that one in place.  There is a LOT more sewing to do on this one.  I'll probably bounce between 3 or 4 projects so it will take awhile.  At least I know it is going to look good now.

  2. That darker outside is going to frame this quilt beautifully! Your like me, sometime you need a bigger design wall! I have the Harley t-shirt quilt up on mine and it hangs over the edges of my design wall and on to the floor too.

  5. This feels like I'm under an apple tree in fall! Really lovely. The colors and prints so cohesive. A real joy to explore.

  6. It's so beautiful Wanda. I just love looking at it, and marvel at how the fabrics just meld from one to another, without any definitive demarcation lines. Stay safe. No telling when or who this virus will infect. Hugs

  8. I haven't made one of these in quite a while. It's glorious how the fabrics blend from one section to another. Thanks for sharing the process and have fun!

  9. I clicked back to see your very first post on this 9 patch of the fabrics you selected for it. And that post lead me back to the first 9 patch you designed and made. (^._,^) Your professionalism of creating yet another 9 patch is awesome .

  10. Oh what fun -- and inspiration. I must make one of these also. All those I've seen and liked have a dark border and your quilt shows the reason why. It really sets off the center. Biggest issue could be the design wall -- don't want to have it 'used' up when there are other projects on the go. Time to get another one??!!
