Three finishes in December. African colorwash 28" x 34", Snails Trail 59" x 72" and African log cabin 58.5" x 81" It was right down to the wire finishing the last 2 but I reached my goal of 24 finished quilts for 2019.
Happy New Year Wanda. The 2 African quilts are unbelievably beautiful, with the log cabin coming in first. I'm so happy we're having some sun for the first day of the new year, and glad the holidays are over, so we can settle down, and look forward to spring. lol
What a GREAT New Year's Eve celebration you had ! Each quilt is indeed a celebration in itself. And to gift your African piece to Vicki, is one she will treasure forever. African log cabin and Snails Trail are treasures as well. What a grand productive year you had.
Congrats on reaching your goals! Always liked that saying: "Better to reach for the stars and hit the woodpile than reach for the woodpile and hit your foot." You are very good at reaching the stars! Joy in 2020...
All three quilts are great, and the African color wash might be one of my favorites. Definitely my favorite color wash. I hope your daughter loves it as much as I do, but I’m sure she does, I expect you know her and her tastes so well that you can’t go wrong. Best wishes for a colorful, creative, and healthy 2020!
Happy New Year Wanda! What a nice finish to a wonderful year of blogging, gardening, and Quilting! That has to be the neatest looking Snail’s Trail quilt I ve ever seen! I love the wild feel of the colorwash that’s for your daughter, intense and beautiful! Thanks for the past year of sharing!
Oh, I love that snail’s trail! It’s a beauty. Happy New Year to you, Wanda.
