I got the first 10 blocks pieced together on Sunday night.
More were sewn last night and I started to group them with similar blocks together. I have 14 more to sew and I have no clue what order they will end up in.
Those are so pretty! Did you sew the entire hexagon together? I saw somewhere to sew each half, but not to sew the halves together so that you could lay the halves in rows and then have one long seam to join all the hexagons into blocks so you didn't have Y seams.
Each block is a mini kaleidoscope ... Can't wait to see how you design this one. I always enjoy looking through a kaleidoscope and seeing those little pieces turn into such beautiful designs.
So pretty! I don’t see how you could possibly know how they’ll go together until you have all of them and can play with the layout on your design wall. But maybe you know something I don’t?

Love, love your blocks!
How much yardage did you start with?

These are very beautiful! I usually pin my halves in the middle so I can move them around easily. You will have great ones to work with and arrange!

That is fascinating. I love this. I have the same question Michele has. How much yardage did you start with and how big will it finish?

You are inspiring me to get mine out and get it done!
