Well, it looks better after spending a whole day refining it. Below is yesterday's photo on the left and today's photo on the right. I can still see a few areas to refine and it looks smoother in person than in a photo.
I love the depth of colour in the Kaffe fabrics. I'm finally back to sewing and I just started my first strings quilt and I love it. Any bits will be saved for a crumb quilt. Lovely sunny, warm day today but cooler at night. Hope your feeling some warmth before the frosts kick in. Have a nice weekend :)
It is amazing . . . I admire your ability to arrange these pieces together and create this gorgeous quilt. Will it be a wall hanging? That's what I would do. I could look at that everyday and be so satisfied at the art work in my home :) Beautiful!!! Happy quilting! Connie:)
I saw the smooth transition right away.... but trying to find exactly where, took me quite awhile. You are THE MASTER of COLOR WASH designing. I never get tired of seeing your creations. When your 360 class is over will you be able to share photos of your students work ?
Wow, you have some weird comments today. I think the whole piece looks much smoother after your tweaking time.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the comparison. I think it is fabulous:)
ReplyDeleteI had a bunch of spammy comments this morning, too -- sheesh. Will be studying the before after comparison photos.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Thanks for the comparison.

You are so patient. I love the way the light radiates into the darker colors. Lovely.
