We ate at a really nice restaurant for my daughter's wedding anniversary. It is the first time I have had a fancy chef decorated plate. It was delicious and so were the desserts that were eaten before I could photograph them.
It is fancy but I’m not sure exactly what it is 😯. I see potatoes, maybe beef and is that a chicken breast? I’m glad you enjoyed the meal and I suspect that dessert was worth it.
I am happy that you experienced the little extra offered by fine dining restaurants. Your daughter and her husband are so sweet to include you and share the fun.
the only time I had a plate looking like that was on a cruise ship! I really enjoyed those meals although hubby could have cared less and would have rather eaten at the quick places on board instead of the fancy dining room
So happy you are enjoying time with your family. I always wondered why a chef would add a drizzle of sauce over an entree or desert. I'd get my sleeve in it every time.
