While my daughter and I were out in the garden Sunday she had me hold up my WIP Kaffe fabric colorwash. It was a nice overcast afternoon and the setting was perfect! This was posted on my Exuberantcolor Facebook page yesterday so if you follow it you many have seen it there already.
You look so good no one would ever guess you just had surgery. And you and Vicki are right your color wash top and garden was an amazing setting. I'm sure you two are enjoying your time together working. And getting some r&r at the same time.
Such lushness, in both the quilt and the garden. I have been kicking around the idea of doing a self portrait in colorwash. Looking to be my fall project.
I agree - you and your garden - and your quilt - look great! I'm glad that you are up and around and able to enjoy your beautiful garden. With you and your quilt in the photo - I have a much better perspective of how BIG and gorgeous it is - ;))
Your quilt is gorgeous and it looks so pretty having it's photo taking in the garden. You should be very proud of this piece, I sure would if I had made it :) P.S. Your garden is beautiful . . . so lush and green.
Such a great setting for that quilt. You look great Wanda.
ReplyDeleteNot being on FB, I am grateful you also shared this beautiful photo here!
