Workshop results...........

The crazy piecing workshop went well.  Everyone went home with a few blocks and a new technique to continue with.  By the time we left it was warmer outside, not exactly no jacket weather but sure nicer than what we had last week.
I heard some doves in the backyard and was surprised to see the ring neck doves.  I don't think I saw any last year.

For those of you who asked for recipes for the scones:  I have to admit we used purchased mixes for them.  They were SO delicious that I don't think I would make them from scratch.  Here is a link for the Blueberry Sour cream and here is the link for Cranberry Orange which is the next one I will make.  The divided ceramic dish is available here in aqua and at King Arthur Flour website in cream color.

  3. I have a king Arthur pan I use also but it has the decorative impressions on the bottom of the pan which you do not see for scones anyhow but you can see for shortbread. Glad your workshop went well

  5. I see some familiar faces in that crowd. Looks like it was a great day of sewing, wish I could have been there!

  6. I can see you had a great group of ladies for your class. And enlarging the photo, they all took home their fun blocks. Thanks for the link for the divided plate. We have a World Market near by, and I will certainly check them out.

  9. I am sure everyone had a good time. The blocks can be so different can't they?
